Stephen from G101.3 came to pick up the coats from the Coats4Kids drive. Nearly 200 coats are now at the Salvation Army to be given to kids in need in our area.

Thank you for keeping your neighbors and community warm this winter.
Update: 11/19/2021
We are now cleaning the coats donated for The Coats4Kids coat drive.
We will share the coat-count when it is available. Thank you to everyone who donated a coat to keep kids warm this winter!
The Coats4Kids coat drive has begun.
Every year, more and more needy children go to school without warm coats. It’s a real challenge to keep our community’s kids properly protected from the winter cold. If we pull together, we can make a big difference right here in our own community.
The Coats for Kids coat drive is a great time to get the right-sized coat for your growing kiddos, clean out your closets, and maybe even find a coat at your favorite thrift store to donate. (We will also collect gloves, mittens, and scarves during the coat drive.)
Armstrong Cleaners and Formalwear, G101.3 and WKBV/ESPN are partnering again this year. During this coat drive, Richmond area residents are encouraged to bring in warm coats, in good condition to one of the several drop off locations. Find all drop-off locations by texting the word “COAT” to 765-939-1013.
All Richmond Armstrong Cleaners and Formalwear locations are drop-off points. Drop off your new and gently used coats until November 5.
After the coats and items are collected, Armstrong’s team will clean them and get them ready for distribution. Stay tuned for distribution details.
Thank you in advance for your support of Coats for Kids and for continuing to care about your community!
